Rogers County, Oklahoma – A house in Rogers County was declared a total loss following a devastating fire on Christmas night, according to the Oak Grove Fire Department.
The fire broke out near East 6th Place and South 289th East Avenue, with Oak Grove Fire receiving the emergency call at 11:15 p.m. Upon arriving just nine minutes later, firefighters encountered the home fully engulfed in flames. Crews immediately launched a defensive attack to control the blaze.
The homeowners, who were inside when the fire began, managed to escape safely along with their pets. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Despite the quick response, the Oak Grove Fire Department confirmed the house was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
